Dr. Abrahamson is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, Iowa Medical Society, Polk County Medical Society, and the American Medical Association. He was recently voted Best Local Dermatologist by CITYVIEW readers February 2020 and February 2021 and was voted Top Dermatologist in Des Moines by other physicians in The DMS magazine Aug/Sept /Oct 2009 issue. Jake Lorsung, PA-CJake Lorsung PA-C joined our medical team in 2020. Jake earned his MS in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Dubuque and a BA from the University of Northern Iowa. He is a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants Diplomate Fellowship Program, Iowa Physician Assistant Society, and American Academy of Physician Assistants. Jake works closely with Dr. Abrahamson to provide you and your family with exceptional dermatology care.
